Would you take your case on Judge Judy?

Some of the cases I see on Judge Judy I can't believe even got to court, but others I can see why the defendant wanted the accused to be publically exposed.
Would you want someone who cheated you out of money shamed on television or would you be embarrassed to go on television with your case?

I would never put myself through that. She is abusive and very disrespectful. Personally I seriously doubt she acts like that without protection. Someone would knock her in the head if she acted like that in public.

You rarely see her being abusive to people who don't deserve it though sometimes she's a bit over the top.

I know what you mean. But still LOL.
The script:
JJ " How long did you live there?"
Plaintiff "8 months"
JJ " COULDN'T HAVE BEEN THAT BEEN IF YOU WERE THERE FOR 8 MONTHS. You should have moved"
Plaintiff "But I had no money"
JJ "It would have been better in a shelter if it was as bad as you say"
lmao.
I do like the show. She calls it like she sees it and it is true but she doesn't have to be a termagant. Use that word if you don't know it. You can call people a B$*ch and they don't know if you are complimenting them or not.

I actually love this show. She must be one of the only people that can get away with saying things to people that we would get charged for if we said it! haha. I persnally hope I would never get in a situation where I would have to go to court let alone on international TV to bare my personal problems. She gets the call right most of the time though....

yes I think she's right most of the time, and would hope I never have to go on a show like that.

That is one woman you wouldn't want to mess with! She doesn't suffer fools gladly! My dad watches the programme religiously and after a while it gets boring, and besides I wouldn't want to 'air my dirty washing' in public anyhow. It's fifteen minutes of fame promised to me I certainly wouldn't take on this show!

I would die a thousand deaths if I had to appear on something like that. It would be great to see the guilty party shamed like that, but unfortunately I would have to appear as well, which wuld be not quite as great!

It would be embarrassing to admit that you let someone trick you out of money, they are often ex partners on the show too so there's an element of revenge.

Ya know, Judge Judy is her own person. Ya either really like her or really hate her....I really like her. I like her values and the respect she demands in her court room.

Oh I simply love the Judge Judy show I do see some that did not need to go to court while others are very interesting. It would not worry me to take some one to court and embarrass them for cheating me out of money, as they made me feel embarrassed for me trusting them and them doing this to me in the first place.

If i really disliked someone I wouldn't mind letting Judge Judy loose on them I'm sure, sadly we don't have a show like it in Britain, and TV camera's still aren't allowed in Courts.

no way, I have seen this show numerous times. Judge Judy goes way over the top as far as I am concerrned.
She seems to be fair, but gets really rude, in a sense.
Some of this may be just show acting.

I think a lot of acting goes on in the show but mainly by the people who go on it it will probably be their only ever TV appearance so they milk it.

I agree I wouldn't want to go on television with a court case or any other type of personal problem.
