Probably PAVE, which helps out battered women and their children. It's usually forgotten about but is a great organization.

I've never heard of PAVE. Sounds like an excellent orginization since it helps women from Domestic Violence situations.

Yes, these people could truly benefit from our helping them. Especially if they are Homeless due to Events in their life regarding Abuse of some sort. I really wish there could be more help out there.

I would help out the local autism chapter. One of my children is autistic and they have been very helpful to us.

Wow. Good Answer. I would personally have never considered somewhere like that, but that is why I chose to ask this question, to get people's opinions.

I would spread it out amongst many. Cancer research, Aids Research, Helping less fortunate, diabetes, and most childrens hospitals...every little bit counts...and every little bit helps.

I know... It would be a hard decision to choose which one is best, but then you could Split it up I guess also to which ones you want to help out.

Woman and Children and the Salvation army is good answers. I was Homeless about 11-12 yrs. back or so due to some situations in my life, and the Salvation Army was one of the main ones who chose to come to my rescue to help me get back on my feet, etc, where I am at today.
