I am not!! I am accused often of being a f*g hag. My brother especially teases me about it. Just because I enjoy the company of gay men does not make me a f*g hag. Maybe it wouldn't bother me so much if it had a different name. Hag is hardly appealing. But that is not the point. The point is that...I don't know what the point is. But I am not...That. LOL Any thoughts??

If anyone knows how to get us angry in a matter of seconds, it is definitely our family members. Sounds to me like your brother is ho#o phobic. That is a form of prejudice which relates to an inner fear and ignorance toward something they are not familiar with. His loss. He will miss out on meeting some wonderful people because he is too ignorant to look past a lifestyle that is different than his. I think his new nickname should be ignoramus fartus, lol.

Actually, my brother is gay. No, I didn't mean to mislead. He likes to pick on me, but it isn't serious by any means. He calls me f*g hag because I am always hanging out with gay guys and because I married one. And it does piss me off, but it pisses me off in the same way that he calls me dumb blond and it pisses me off. It's just a sibling thing. I would never put up with anyone, family or not, that was anti-gay. Sorry if I mislead you. THanks for responding.

Oh, he would never call me anything as respectful as that. "Miss Priss," maybe. LOL

Awww its sweet. I call my mum a f*g hag now and again but as a gay man I'm allowed. Honey, Think of it as a term of endearment and an appreciation of the love from your gay sisterhood or brotherhood LOL You can be one of my f*g hags anyday

LOL - I get called that too cyntrow because I have a couple of good friends who are gay men and I love hanging out with them and going out to gay bars. I enjoy their company and it's easy to relax with them. I'm not keen on the hag bit either. If we could think of a better name for it I wouldn't mind so much.

Yeah, we should put our heads together and find something else.

One of my friends wholly embraces her f*g hag status. Maybe if you pretend to like it, your brother won't find so much fun in teasing.

LOL, naw, he'd just find something else. Or change the name to make it worse instead of better.

Oh, you are too and you know it. Own it honey! LOL. Okay, now to be serious(ish). I know it may not sound all that appealing, but it's not really and insult, just a fun little play on words. And, well, you do have to admit that you sound like you probably fit the social definition of what a f*g hag is. Hey, I've been one since birth, so... :)
