I just got my income tax refunds, we fill two of them out here in Quebec, I got 120.00 on the Canadian one, but I owed the government money and they took it back.
I did get 78.00 on by quebec on, and it went straight in the bank for my telephone bill.
Every extra bit of money I get goes on bills.
Are you expecting an refund and if so what will you do with it?
What do you do with any extra money you get?

I was supposed to pay the QC governement about 70$ from what i had calculated, but, to my great surprise, i got a check from them for 137$ instead of an account statement!! They judged that i payed too much of RRQ & RAPQ, so it turned out they owed me. It's ok, i'll take it! It did add up to our budget to pay bills though.

I don't expect any or much of a refund, but when and if we get one, it usually goes on the outstanding bills. Never seems to be enough money for anything these days does there. If there weren't so many bills outstanding, and we got some extra money, then we would likely use it to go on a holiday.

I did mine already in February and it is all gone! I spent it on paying some bills and all that fun stuff. Oh well it paid off another credit card for me

I'm getting almost $800 back, and it's all going towards bills, sadly. I owe too much on my credit cards to even think of splurging on something for myself. I also owe money for my cr loan and car insurance. I should be getting the money in my account soon, though, so once I start my job I won't have to worry so much about paying off my bills, and can start saving money sooner than expected.

I'm just getting my taxes done now. Last year I received around $1300 back and this year I am expecting around the same. My wife made a bit more but we now have another child to claim. The majority of it will go to credit debt and some will be set aside for a future vacation trip that we would like to take on our 10th wedding anniversary next year.
