Do you think it's harmful to children and teens that more than one third of the television commercials designed specificaly to target their age range are for candy and snacks?

Harmful-- No.. but I think it is bad-- My daughter is like I'm going to try that-- She believes what she sees on tv.. She is 10-- I've slowly convinced her that everything on tv isn't real- Most of the things aren't real! I do think that when kids see this kind of thing they will want to eat it- But it is our responsibility as parents to not let them. We have the job of teaching them healthy eating.

Great response, and yes we do face this responsibility...But, unfortunately...I hate to say this...but many, many parents let TV raise the children.... Many reasons for this which is another topic of discussion...I just wish we could all stop, think, and look at what we are generating as the future of america...sounds harsh, but think on it...Thanks
