Anyone from or been to Galicia, Spain?

I moved to Vigo, Spain when I was about 3 years old (my father was originally from Santiago de Compostela). From there we moved to Nigran (a sorta small town in Galicia). We lived there for 6 years until my family decided to return to New York. I love Galicia and wish I could visit more often. Last time I went it was for my honeymoon in August of 2003. My husband, who had never been there, fell in love with the place and didn't want to return to the states! Of course we couldn't stay, but we still dream about one day buying a vacation home in Porto do Son, La Coruna. Has anyone else been there or still live there?
