If you could honor one and only one living person, who would it be?
I would honor Nelson Mandela for bravery and for being an example of forgiveness and kindness. He is definitely the kind of person Ghandi or Jesus was referring to when they talked about forgiveness and being a peace maker.

I know you said one person, but, I would say my children (2), for being strong and courageous every day of their lives. For loving me unconditionally and letting me do the same.
It's an honour for me to be their mother, it's not a job or a chore but a blessing and gift, one that I am grateful for everyday, and thats not to say that I don't have my moments of doubt, or those moments when things get so frustrating you wonder if you are doing things right or not.
Who better to honour than someone that you bought into this world and was given to you as a blessing that you raise to maybe a future peace maker, doctor, politician, actor, fireman etc.

It sounds like you have wonderful children and you are rightfully a proud parent. I hope your children read your answer and know how much they mean to you.

It certainly seems like they did a good job if you recognize it.
