best type of pure on rs atm

Range and mage hybrids are only good up to level 60 or so...by then the str pures are hitting harder than your fire blast spells (f2p) so mage is kind of a dud.....

the type of pure i should choose totally dpends on whether you choose to pk on a free world or member world 1st of free world- you hav to choose what level you are low level-preferably mages since they can hit high and hav extremely low combat levels a average level-most preferd is melee --pure rangers are not effiecent on a free world since the best weapons they can use are maple bows, addy arrows and green dragonhide. as for members there is alot more options. the first option is choosing between pking in the wilderness or dueling arena. there is a massive diference.i personally prefer dueling arena alot more. in wildy youll need to have a good defence and prayer, and mages are preferd becase of ice blitz and entalge and stuff. in the dueling arena however, keep prayet at 1 because 95% of the duels are prayer off, which means if you hav prayer it will do you no good and also raise your combat level which is bad. in duel arena ther is more and more x-loggers, a kind of bug which people are now taking advantage of.but if you are in a dds(dragon dagger) or abbysal whip duel, the fight will last 5 seconds max, making it nearly impossible for people to x-log. my stats are 70 atk, 99 str, 99hp and 70 range. this is a wip staker or hybrid because of the range(to wear balck dragonhide as armor because i hav 1 def and 1 prayer). i hav 79 combat and on good days i can win anything up to 40m per day. but same things happend on bad days, i can as easily lose 40m in les than 2 minutes. but hey, the risk is what makes it fun. lol i went off topic a bit.soz bout tat

player verses player, mages totally own in f2p, this is because even though a ranger can put up a good fight, a mage can hit very high in comparison to the ranger. in members it has to be the rangers that do better, the better arrows, bows and d hide armours make an advantage over mages. but if it is player v monsters, then melee owns, it really depends on what you are doing in game as to which does best. i have found also that certain mini games also veer toward being better for meleers. duel arena... dharoks really owns! pest control... meleers take down the prtals and monsters much faster than mages/rangers. castle wars, if you don't want to be stuck in your own sides castle, then melee does better! but melee sucks in the wilderness lol

I seen many mage/range hybrids owning people, I feel that it is the best in both members and free.

I thing that melee pures own the wildy. But somtimes the rangers get an edge on the meleers on not having to eat as much. But me i have a rune pure lvl 81 with 82 str and ive owned plenty of players with 99 str mage or range easily.... just if u know how to pk u own..

At the end of RuneScape classic me and a couple of friends were disscusing this whole topic. "What is RuneScape's best pure?" after about 2 hours of talking, one of my mates suggested DEFENCE PURE, we all laughed and teased him. But then we thought about it and asked what would the stats be? he said, "40 attack - 40 strength - 99 defence" he Implied that it would take forever but it would pay off, and it did. This is why I am suggesting DEF Pure or Tank ranger.

the best type is a range and mage hybrid they do kick butt but a max level player can put up a damn good fight against you. I don't play runescape any more but thats how it was when i played it, my account still has 75 million in it just sitting there doing nothing, shame.
