I was 17 also. But it was alredy 22 yrs ago! :)
I think the girls lose their virginity earlier now.

I was 20. I wasn't married, but I did marry him about 2 years later. When I was younger, I figured I'd wait till I was married, but...well, that didn't happen. But we did eventually get married! lol

lol Actually, I was the one putting off getting married. He was ready pretty quickly. And he pretty much made all the plans. "How bout we get married this day at this time?" I like to joke that he set the date and I just showed up because I didn't have anything better to do between classes. Yep, that's right, between classes. I went to my morning class, drove home, got married, and went back for my afternoon class. It was just a simple courthouse wedding; we couldn't afford a big one.

I was also 17 when I lost my virginity. I had this really great looking girlfriend and when she asked I didn't refuse, because it was something I was really curious about and wanted to try. Now I'll get it whenever I can from my current girlfriend :)

Mine I lost it to my hubby when I was 23. American people might find this odd but here in the Philippines that's the way it is. But of course there are also liberated girls here who gives up virginity at an early age.
