Do you feel like you were ever let go from a job unfairly? Or forced to quit because everyone made it uncomfortable? Let me know why you think it happened, and what people can do to avoid it. Thanks :)

I haven't really experienced it myself but I had lots of previous officemates who became victim of such. It usually happens when your incompetent with your work. We have to understand that the management is trying to run a business and if they think you're not upto the job, they will let you go. Sometimes the process of letting go seems unfair and harsh.

I agree that is probably the main reason, although of course not the only reason!

Let me just add too- I think that is the main reason people are let go FAIRLY. If you are not good at your job, then yeah, they have to let you go. But the question I was asking about was, were you let go "unfairly?" Also, discrimination is not the same as being let go because you weren't doing your job. I want to know about discrimination, not being let go because your not doing things right...
