Just wondering what age is it okay to feed my son the jar foods that have meat mixed in, like chicken noodle, macaroni and beef ect. thank you!

I have 5 kids and i gave them some meats in the jars when they were around 4 months old. I have learned first hand that doctors dont know everything and sometimes the things they tell you are not true lol but almost all of mine had jared food at some point even before 4 months

I believe that she was asking about junior food. Sassy, I don't think I need to remind you the hazard of choking with babies. There is a certainly a risk in offering your baby junior food or any baby food before they have reached that stage of development. By nine months her son should be ready to eat the junior food. You might also want to make your own baby toddler food too.

Usually around 10 months. When they they have teeth and can chew. Thats a great time to introduce the meat mixed jars.

You know, until I saw your question I never really thought about it. Come to think of it, I don't think I ever gave my kids baby meats...hmm. nuts. I usually just gave the fruits and veggies. And I think with my son I gave pureed meat. I guess I better get on the ball and remember some things quick since I have another one due in 6 weeks. It's been 5yrs since my last baby.

Hello 4cuteboys, If you are unsure I would check with your doctor, but around the age of 9 to 12 months you might want to start introducing your son to the baby junior food.

I started my daughter on the stage 3 foods around 8 months. She is 11 months now and is just starting to get her first tooth and she eats small peices of what we eat. I don't think teeth really matter because they chew in the back and they don't get those teeth until later.
