I too LOVE Dragonlance. I have well over 100 books and have read them all. I prefer the beginning trilogy (Autumns Twilight, Spring Dawning,) The thing is though, there are so many books now with so many different authors. I like to begin at the beginning of a series and work my way through. It is difficult to do this with the Dragonlance series as it jumps all over the place from era to era and back again. After having read sooo many of these books I am somewhat frustrated by trying to keep everything in a chronological order.
I have thought about donating my whole series of these books to a library or something because I have way too many books and not evnough space for them. Also, once I've read a book I can';t re-read it.
Have you also tried the Forgotten Realms or Wheel of Gime series? If so what do you think? If not, definitely pick them up, you will like them.

My favorite was Legends:) i liked that it was focused mostly on the twins, and it was full of good action. also, it tells the story of the cataclysm i believe...god its been forever, but im pretty sure thats why it was my favorite lol

I have to say the Chronicles Trilogy was my favs, its what started it all for me. I have read about 80 books myself over the many years, but have given them out to friends to read or traded them in at book swaps, and would now like to rebuild my collection. ( the earlier books mostly )

Wow! Im so glad to find people that are reading the Dragonlance series! I am from the Philippines and most people from the younger generation like me do not really like to read nowadays. I am a neophyte compared to most of you guys. 100 BOOKS! WOW! that would be way too cool! I hope I can be able to read as many books as you guys! Im just awe struck! thanks!

Just want to remind everyone of the upcoming Dragonlance animated movie, in theaters September 2007. If we ever want a live action movie we are going to have to support this one. It will cover the first book and will adhere very closely to the story from what I have read. Nobody huge doing a voice but a few we will recognize, particularly Kiefer Sutherland as...(wait for it)...Raistlin Majere and Lucy Lawless as Goldmoon.
Anything new I hear will be posted.
