I know a lot of us would say we will indeed "understand" them, But does our action do the same? Do we go near them? Do we treat them like lepers?

I try hard to understand and be a good person about people with AIDS. Certainly I wish no ill will on anyone for any reason. That being said, god forgive me, but I struggle. I know people with the disease and I struggle to allow them into my home or near my family. People that are getting AIDS these days (excluding children) are doing it to themselves and I don't get that...I don't think it makes me a bad person to want to protect my family and myself from that, but I also know that I need to continue to grow in this area. Afterall, isn't that what life is about!

I understand, it is what life all about. Afterall prevention is better than cure. We can always make them feel our love by supporting their movements, and organizations. I believe being aware of having the disease would make them understand the dilema of us dealing with them. It is not bad to protect our family, it is noble. :)
