My Bike was stolen during the time i was in school. The funny thing is that just the day before, it had been punctured and i had had to drag it home...It was exhausting and when i finally reached home, i almost threw it in the stands thinking stupid bike...lol..and that was the last i saw of it.

i lost a cell phone twice and i was not able to retrieve both of them...

I guess cellphones top the list of stolen/lost things...iv been lucky enough not to be mentioned in that list....yet..hehe

i lost a cell phone once. i remember calling the celco provider and asked 'can you detect where my cell phone is?'. in movies, they can do that - tracing the place where the call is made.
they reply with 'we don't have that technology at the moment'.

my motorcycle.
i remember using padlock to lock the stand but according to my officemate, she did saw a couple of guys dragging the motorcycle by lifting it up by hand. unfortunately, she can't remember their face.
i almost resigned because of that. it took me almost 40 minutes to travel to my office by motorcycle. now without motorcycle, i'm thinking of moving into some company nearer to my house.
it was stolen 3 years ago. by now, i already have a new job and a car. but i still missed that motorcycle as it was the first vehicle i bought with my own money.

Yes, i guess that does hurt a lot..Especially if its with your own money.

yep, my bike was stolen while i was in school. that was very disappoiting. i didnt find it still! hope its in good condition wherever it is....
