what was the first thing you ever shoplifted?

I was in grade four and mom had taken my sister and I to the store . I asked her for a treat and she said no . I really wanted some gum but she wouldn't buy it for me . I stole a pack of gum . When we got home my mother reached in my pocket and pulled out the gum . She asked me where I had got it and I had told her someone at school gave it to me . She knew I was lying and treatened me with the cops if I didn't tell the truth saying some story about if I had stolen the gum it would be on tape and the cops could be on there way over to arrest me and that if that was the case I needed to go and confess and hope that the store owner would not have me charged . I bought her story and was terrified . I didn't know that she had called the owner of the store and had them go along with her story . Let's say it was definitely scary thinking I was going to go to jail but it worked . I have never stolen another thing in my life again lol .

When I was 9, I stole this little flashlight from the convenience store. You could turn the lense so that the light would be green or red, blue, or just plain white.
