Is it good to give your mobile number to everyone

It has been a fancy that we all have mobile and we used to give our number to all the people but have we ever thought about the problems that will come like frequent disturbances, anoying calls, missed calls. etc. so we have to think before giving our mobile number to others.People what do you think about it can we give our number to every one or we must not. post your comment on this

Very few people have my cell number. If you give it out... they will call! I like to be able to go out and not be bothered. The most important people have it so in case of a real need someone can get me but other than that they dont need to call all the time.

i too have the same habbit, but some how my number gets out of the circle.

Only a few people have my cell number. If I apply for a job, or an filling out something that needs a number, I put my home phone number, if absolutely needed. I just don't think that anybody besides family and close friends need it. Very rarely is there an emergency with someone who isn't a family member or friend and they'd need to reach me right away.

I do not give my mobile number to each and everyone. I rarely give number. Only to those who are close to me. Giving to many creates problem, any time we may receive unwanted calls from unknown person which may cause disturbance in our daily routine.

I don't give my mobile number to everyone. I just give it to people that I trust and people that I know. There was one time that I am receiving lots of text messages from unknown number. I am also receiving several calls and missed calls and it is quite disturbing. So what I did is I change my number and decided to give my number to few people only.

then you should have complained to the authorities so that they could have helped you, why should you change the number

Since the mobile number is of personal use, we must not give the mobile number to each and every person. I think, the mobile numbers should not be provided in public directories, yellow pages and in the visiting cards as well.

I usually don't give my number to all people around me except close friends.It sometimes will be boring when there are so many calls or messages.But if I want to be quiet myself,I would turn off my cell phone.And then nobody can disturb me at all.
