My twelve year old niece announced the other day that she was having her daily cup of coffee. Her mom did not believe her, thinking that it was hot chocolate. After she smelled it, she was suprised.
I know that coffee has caffiene, but so does soda. Has anyone ever heard of a child being badly affected from drinking coffee regularly?

I'm always so appalled when I hear this, BUT....
then I think about soda and I'm not really sure if there is any difference, other than the fact that we don't expect kids to drink coffee, so it has become an adult drink. Hmmmmm...
I guess I would say that giving a child caffeine daily, in any form, wouldn't be a good thing.
