First no one can practice Christianity by his/her power or strength. This is because as humans we're bound to fail. This is made available to the christian to cover for human frailties, weaknesses and sins and prevent guilt-feelings. 2. The power of the Holy Spirit - He's our comforter, helper, encourager, teacher, guide. He's available to every christian that ask 3. The word of God - its important to read and study the Bible daily as a young christian. You could use daily devotionals like the ones in Bible gateway or study bibles that will help you understand and enjoy your study more. 4. Prayers - we serve a God who loves to hear fromus and also talk back to us and one way this is achieved is through prayers. Learn to talk to God as your father in prayers; pour out your heart to Him the way your feel at any time. By reason of Christ' sacrifice we all christians have access to His throne anytime. Find a good Bible believing church. You may want to visit different churches and learn about them before becoming a member. Pray that God will lead you to the right church. Remember that now all of your sins are forgiven. You are now a child of God and He has awesome plans for you! Ask God to show you what He wants you to do with your life. Use the talents God gave you to glorify Him. Read the Bible..God's Word and meditate on it daily. Ask God to help you to understand His Word and to speak to you thru His Word. Jesus is with you all of the time and no matter what you may go thru, He will see you thru. He will never let you down. You may go thru some really difficult times. Some people think that once you give your life to Christ, that all your problems will disappear. That is not so. Christ gives you strength and a new attitude that helps you get thru life, plus you have a joy in you that nothing can take away. Even in the midst of pain and sorrow, there is that inner joy and peace that only comes from knowing Christ. The world cannot give that to you. Only He can. I'm so excited for you! Yay! I have a new sister in christ, what a wonderful time of the year as well, you will get to see first hand what Jesus did on the cross for which we celebrate the real Easter. Find a church where you know that maybe a friend goes to, if not ask around, at work or if at home, in your neighbourhood, and pray that God will direct you to the one he knows that is right for you.
