This is my first time to assist in a minor operation. I was very nervous, I don't know what to do. While we were in the procedure, my classmates notice that I'm getting pale and I shivir because of nervousness. And I was very irritated to my clinical instructor because she left me while the procedure is being done instead of guiding me what to do. Grrrr...!!!

I guess the clinical instructor trusts you so he/she left you. I think you should be more proud and excited rather than feeling nervous during that time. Good luck on your next minor operation, or better yet, good luck on your next major operation.

No, yout definitely wrong. Clinical instructors should be there whenever her/his students will assist in an operation even if its minor. They should guide there students in every action they'll perform because any mistakes of there students will be their responsibility and their license might be on trouble. Thank you, I'll wait for my next case;)
