Do you know about quality discussions, responses and comments?

From what I read, by quality means your post should not be a one liner post and the spelling should be correct. I am not sure about the grammar part though whether it is taken into consideration as well or not.

Quality discussions are ones that give us something to respond to. When a discussions invokes one word or one sentence responses it's not a good quality discussion. You want one that creates a need for a response that is more then just a line or two. With responses and comments quality ones are ones that are on the topic, that have some merit to them, and have some meet to it. You want ones with more then just a line or two, ones where the person has put some thought into what is written, and when possible adds into the overall discussion. All of that combined make a response or comment a qualitative one.

Quality responses includes all of the above. It's basically a response that is meaningful and well written. It does not mean it has to be perfect, just not only one line or a bunch of dots or repetitive letters. A quality discussion is a discussion that elicits more than a yes or no answer. Mylot guidelines lists some of the criteria.

I think quality discussion/response are those having meaningful content and using correct English grammar. Responses or discussion with single doesn't make sense at all and it doesn't help much in Mylot discussion. It just defeat the purpose of having discussion and a waste of time. So, to make our life happier in Mylot, we should contribute by giving sincere and meaningful response. So that people will enjoy reading it and we could easily get a positive rating or even the best response! Although my English proficiency level is not so high compared to the best in Mylot, but I always try my best to give a quality one.

I only really pick questions that I can truly relate to in the first place. This is the only way I can give a quality answer. I try to answer from my heart and give responses to the question that was asked in the first place. I try not to go off on tangents and write as intelligently as possible. That would be, for me, a quality answer.
