wow, you haven't played the other parts? Well, before I tell you anything, let me suggest that you play both the previous ones, the sands of time and warrior within. Even though you would have really enjoyed the game, you will enjoy it more when you've played all three because unlike other games the stories are a continuation of each other. The girl you're talking about is Farah, she was in the first game, sands of time, she was a princess of India when the prince and his people went there and that is where the story all started. The other girl who the prince is trying to save is Kaileena who was in the second game, warrior within(the best one according to me, it's the only one with two endings), Kaileena is the empress of time and the love of the prince. So, there you go. But i strongly suggest you play the other two, I didn't tell you the whole story because I don't want to spoil it for you. It's best if you play both of the games and then play two thrones again for a tremendous experience.

The girl which saves the prince at some times , shes farah , she was the girl in the prince of persia sand of times, the prince fell in love with her but in the end he thought it was better not to tell. So she comes to t2t because she wants to help and she helps the prince but doesnt know her.
