I had a close friend. Once after college, we decided to go out for coffee. Before we left campus, she called her boyfriend to tell him that we are going out. The next thing i knew, she was cancelling our plans so that she could go out with her boyfriend. I was hurt at that time.
I do understand that she wants to be with her boyfriend, but i'm sure it can be at another time. She's just unaware of the rejection i felt. To me a sorry would suffice but then again, try to just talk. If she's open to talking, then you can bring up the subject at a much later date. - Lyn

"True friends" , should forgive each other. I think u must be more positive. Change ur mindset to "positive thinking" and put a smile on ur face. Always smiling no matter what.

I believe friends should forgive each others..
and that saying sorry is more than enough when your friend means it..
I would say you really mean it since you started a discussion over it :)

Saying "sorry" sometimes doesn't help. It depends on what you have done and how really forgiving your friend is.
However, if that person is truly a friend, he/she will come around.
