Hicks has pleaded guilty to the charges so we must presume he is. Although he has already served 5+ years in awful conditions; which was wrong, and his case should have been addressed long before now, I think people should not have to much sympathy for him.

As far as I am concerned, If you enter another country, you should obey that country's law. I have no sympathy at all for this person. The sentence that you get should also be served in that country. I do not know if Hick's was guilty or innocent and I dont even read about it anymore either. I actually live in the same home town as Hicks too.
