what to do about stray dog menace

Yes I agree that something should be done about stray dogs, but a lot of times children get mauled by dogs in someones backyard. Sometimes dogs are brought up to be the way they are too. I really feel sorry for those dogs, they are doing what they are taught, then some poor child comes along and ends up getting hurt. I always tell my kids to stay away from dogs, unless the owner says that its ok for them to pat it.

I think the stray dogs should be shot. If you think its brutal you can always think about the kids that have been ruthlessly attacked by these dogs. If anyone objects then let them take the responsibility of getting rid of stray dogs. I love animals but nothing more than I love mankind and specially children. In a country like India where street children need immediate attention I dont think we have time to rear stray dogs. SO the only thing you can possibly do is to finish them literally finish them.

It is sad that there are so many stray dogs who are just victims of their circumstances, but the health and safety of humans should be the priority. The authorities should round up all the stray dogs and leave them at the doorstep of the animal rights activists and let them deal with it!

Round up the strays give them to the animal activist to properly care for and get homes for. The ones that have attacked people with out just cause (protecting young, fear from harm, etc) then by all means put them down. Sometimes that is the only solution and truly not the animals fault
