hey!
thank you very much for that, but even if jagex took nominations of mods, and i was chosen on that basis, i don't think it would take it.
i have seen many mods in game, and they are always getting harrased, one of the most common questions i have seen them be asked is "how do you become a mod?", they must get a little fed up with that question alone lol. when i see them about, they tend not to talk too much in certain areas, as the questions they get asked are endless, it must make it very difficult to play sometimes.
then there is the fact that i am a mod on runescape-tip.com forum, this i find can be quite time consuming, and i have to answer alot of questions for people, not sure i could cope modding both.
again thanx :)
and if i could nominate someone to be mod, i think it would have to be someone who didn't mind talking to a low lvled player, just as they do high lvl players. there are a few people on my friends list who come under that category, as i met them while on my pure, and they were nice to me regardless of the fact i was low lvled... shocked though when they met my "main" hehe.

If i was offered a mod position i would need to think i while before accepting it because if you think about it theres some advantages and disavatages. An advantage would be that even if playes have there chats on hide they still see what you say. You could also help enforce some of the rules... The disadvantage would be that most of the lower lvl players bug them about it and think that there the best in the world just by there small ability to ban people.(They cant rly ban people just temp mute)

Kind and helpful are good but a mod also has to be very observant, knowledgable and able to slit a characters throat if their breaking the rules. They also get bombarded by people who are obsessed with that little silver crown.
Want a trail of noobs following you. Wear a skill cape or have a crown beside your name.

I do not want to suggest names. But what I feel is that a mod must have a sense of belonging to the game, have responsibility, willing to lend a listening heart to players occasionally, can be impartial at all times and not being bias to players.
