Everybody should learn the meaning of the proverb and must live accordingly.This proverb refers to the opportunities.When an opportunity comes your way you must crab it.
For example, an assignment is offered to you in your country.In the mean time, another abroad job smiles at you.Now you are left with confusion.Suppose if you willing to go abroad, offcourse, you will be up in the deal financially.
The job is on visa basis.A negative result will be unavoidable.But taking up a job is permanent and you can rise up gradually.So make hay in a correct manner..Do you agree??

This has lot of meaning...thats we must open the opportunity when it knocks our door... i too had an opportunity and the marriage offer at the same time..i decided to go to onsite and get the marriage done later.......iam now in UK...i will settle myself financially well...and when i come back to india i will get married...so use the opportunity when it knocks...there are some opportunity which u will get when others dont....so use it wisely and enjou ur life....

I do agree with this proverb this has been a very old and famous proverb which i knew from my childhood. But i couldn't cash on one opportunity which is costing me dear. Wish i will get a nice opportunity again and this time i wont miss upon it. We never know when the opportunity comes our way and we should be prepared for that.
Thanks for once again remembering such a nice proverb.

thats a good piece of advice. and i would like to say this to the school students who are all writing there exams, so that they are working in he correct time and getting good marks other wise this chance will never come to them again. so let them work hard now and enjoy the fruit of it latter or else it will be a big problem.
