a single bed would be okay for me but a double bed would be great. When I stay at my friends house I prefer a one big bed single or double where all of us could be in it and sleep together. It just feels nice because you're closer to each other.

I love a double bed to sleep on as it is spacious and I feel more comfortable on it. I have a king-size double bed in my own apartment, which is two meters long and one point eight meters wide. But the one I have on campus is two meters long and one point two meters wide. Anyway it is still big enough for two on the same bed.

Hi jisir. It is nice to have an extra room to entertain our guests. But unfortunately many people who stay in the highly populated urban areas do not have such vacant rooms for their visitors. Truly, we will feel more comfortable if we sleep alone or with our loved one.

The one in my apartment is much more spacious than the one in my school. By the way, I have an extra bed with the same size in my another room, which is for my guest. I love to sleep alone or with my partner, not somebody else. hehe. Otherwise I don't feel at ease turning from left to right. hehe.

Good morning fengbo. Since you have back to your school, do you stay in the dorm of your school or rent a room outside? Do you share the room with someone? Do you have a single bed or a double bed at your bedroom? I hope you don’t mind I ask so many questions lol
I still remember when I was young during my college days, 14 of us sharing one large dormitory. There are altogether 7 bunk beds at our dorm. Of course I prefer to pick the upper bed which I could have much privacy.

Hi fengbo, my dear friend. I am glad to see you again. You really gave me a great surprise when I saw your username occurred in one of my discussions. Hi my friend, welcome back to mylot again with open arms. I am sure that many mylot friends here miss you very much. Are you on leave or you got another new job?
Yeah, to sleep with your girlfriend in a spacious double bed of course is more comfortable. But to sleep with her in a single bed might be more intimate, right? I do like to sleep in a single bed when sharing room with friends or colleagues.
Happy mylotting and with best wishes.

I prefer to sllep on a double bed with my partner. I simply cant sleep alone. I need him by my side to hold him tight as i go to sleep. Without him i get uneasy and end up holding his pillow tight to me.

Not same to you I like to sleep in a double bed. I like to sleep in a big bed. If I sleep in a single bed I afraid I will 'fly' down the bed midnight. LOL. Because the single bed is too small. I always turn left and right on the bed when I sleep. I had flew down from my single bed many times so I prefer to sleep in a double bed.

Hi shirleylily. If you have to stay in a hotel room where double bed is not available, it is advisable to pick a single bed close to the wall. Or you could join the two single beds together to make the joined bed more spacious. You can roll about in the spacious bed and would not drop down from the it.

Hi ikbooi! I have never saw it or slept on it, but only saw double bed on tv. The first time I saw it was in a movie and when I saw it, I never developed any interest in it cos I felt it won't let me sleep comfortably. Thanks

Hi thefuture, from what you had said I reason out that, beds are very uncommon in your place. I am quite curious about this and would you kindly tell me where do you normally sleep at night? Does the sleeping place look quite different from our bed here? I am glad to share the information. Thanks a lot in advance. Happy mylotting and with best wishes.

Double.. I need my space when I'm sleeping. I get overheated really easily, and it's very uncomfortable for me. A double is still on the small side for me, I prefer my Queen.

Hi aaidjs. Your double bed must be very comfortable, even your grandchildren would like to sleep in it with their affectionate grandma.
I could imagine how intimate it would be when sharing bed with the kids and telling them their favorite bedtime stories.

I prefer a single bed, because I think I'm more comfortable sleeping in a bed that's my size. hehe. I don't move much when I sleep, so it's awkward if there's so much more space around me. I just feel as if a ghost would sleep beside me if that space wouldn't be occupied in a long time. Even in hotels, I've observed that I usually go for the single bed, while my friends would fight over the big beds. At least, I don't have to fight with anyone, and could get to rest immediately. hehe

I believe too. It is better to sleep in a single bed as we don’t need extra space beside us. As you think that there might be a ghost to sleep beside you on a double bed, it is strictly advisable not to demand a double bed in a hotel room. It is good in the sense that to sleep in single bed, you don’t have to waste time to fight with anyone in the same room for a double bed. In my opinion it is much more convenient to have single bed at home as I don’t have to wash a larger bed sheet lol...

Hi mattwilkie. You are really a big fan of double bed ever since you were a teen. You are used to sleep in spacious bed and could enjoy much freedom to move about in the bed. Yeah, we always find double beds in hotel rooms, so I think there will be no problem for you when renting a hotel room.

I like to sleep in double bed, the bigger the better. King size is the best LOL. Bigger bed is more spacious so that I could roll around without having the worry of falling to the ground. But I like to sleep alone so that nobody will disturb me :)

i prefer double bed because it is wider and i feel more comfortable sleeping in one. i sleep in whatever position that i want. the size will not limit my movement.
with a double bed, i can also have someone sleep beside me without worrying that he might fall of the bed.
