I have a hospital bill for my son. Does anyone know where I can get a loan?

I have a debt to the hospital for the first three days of my son's birth, its $15000.00. My bank won't loan us the money. Where can I go to get a good loan to pay this off?

Why not make payments to the hospital. As long as you are making some sort of attempt at the bill they can not report you for not paying to the credit agency or turn you over to a collection agency. If it has already been turned over to a collection agency call the agency and make some sort of payment plan with them.

I tried paying them, but they wanted a large sum of money per month. I thought that I had to pay it, not just pay some amount. I don't want to ruin our credit.

Does the hospital you had him at have a program that helps those who need it get assistance in paying for those services. I know here if you are of certain income you can go to the hospital and fill out some paperwork and if you qualify they will help pay for some of the bill.

We were told that we made too much. I don't see how. We live in Government apartments and AHCCCS is our insurance now. That's why I'm asking for help. I don't know what else to do.
