Rule Breaking!

Okay normally I am not one to complain about things but I really think all the hype on the rule breaking is crap. We have not seen but one incident this season of rule breaking but I guarantee that by the end of the season we will have seen plenty just like last season with the rule breaking about the lifts. To me if you are going to tell the stars that they are not allowed to do lifts in thier routines then the professionals should not be able to do them on the result show when they are demenstrating the dances that are going to be preformed the following week. They should be demenstrating the dances exactly how the stars are to preform them. It is misleading to let the professionals do it one way then turn around and tell the stars "sorry but you can't do that".
Am I right or not? What do you think about this? Should the rules be changed or should the professionals change how they demenstrate the dances?

The stars know the rules- I think lifts are fine when they are showing us what each dance is- The dancers are the ones who choreograph each routine. They know not to put lifts in the routines. Am I wrong or are the things that Heather has been doing kind of lifts? She is leaving the floor- When she sat on her partners leg and back flipped off him? I thought this was against the rules but not one judge mentioned it- so I'm sure it was ok.

well, i agree with you. But, my question has always been why the pros are even allowing these rules to be broken in the first place. They know what the rules are so why are they allowing it? If I were the pro, I wouldn't let it happen at all. Maybe they are just trying to make it more interesting to the viewing public. I know last year when Mario broke so many rules, his dances were SO great and entertaining. But, I do agree that if lifts and such are not allowed, then they should have to be demonstrated that way.

They probably do not allow the stars to do the lifts to protect them. Lifts are very dangerous and only the professional dancers should be allowed to do them. I think as far as how they demonstrate the dances I like seeing how the professionals actually do the dances.I don't think the rules should be changed.
