i need some ideas

i want to do something incredible for my mom this mothers day...from the heart! not about money, but to show her how much she means to my kids and i. withut her i would be lost and in trouble im sure, i've been through a lot and she always seems to be there whenever i need her. i want her to know how much i love her. do you have any ideas? something creative and from the heart

the bird house sounds lovely!
I would get the boys to elp me make something for her, a planter for the garden with sring blbs that will last a while and little flowers perhaps. Maybe they could decorate the pot with colours, ribbons, shells etc.
My mum loved shells and pine cones so I used to spray cones pretty colour and make wind charms or dream catchers for her garden trees.
If you can get hold of a big nice shaped stone you could make a door-stop with the boys help.
How about cook her a party tea, with fairy cakes decorated by you all, oh I could go on all day, sorry if I bored you, I don't have mine any more so I can really only take flowers etc for her. I did do a scratch art angel that my dad laminated and glued to her headstone, that's lasting quite well really. Sorry bit morbid there, didn't mean to be!

that wasnt morbid at all. my grandma is passed on and i wish her grave sight was closer so i could do things like that. those were fantastic ideas, i think i'll get the boys to do the door stop thing, they would love that. she has a great big basket with a handle that she bought years ago at a thrift store, she keeps holding onto it but doesnt do anything with it, maybe i'll fill it with plants of some sort. thanks so much, this was awesome, i'll let you know what i come up with

you're sweet. thats a great idea, she has lots of that stuff though..hmmmm maybe a basket full of candles potporri etc..... yep thats a good idea. last year i made her a bird house made out of twigs and hay. it was beautiful and she loved it. it took 6 hours to make but it was worth it. thanks for posting
