This is our cat, Finnegan (I've never uploaded a photo to here before, so I hope this works).
I'm always struck by the intelligence that cats display as they get older, and yesterday, he was stretched out on top of the couch, looking out the window.
Now, we have vertical blinds which were open, but one of them must have been in his viewing range, because he just stretched out a paw, held it aside for quite some time, and continued gazing even more intently.
What do your cats do that just leaves you in awe?

I have two cats. One night I was on the couch and one of the cats was curled up next to me. the other was pacing in front of the couch and meowing. Non stop. I couldn't figure out what he wanted. Maybe he just needed a little attention. So I reached down to pet his head. When I reached forward, I disturbed the cat curled up next to me. He got up and jumped off the couch. the minute I sit back, the one that was pacing jumps up on the couch and take the same position the other cat was in. I just laughed. Surely he planned that whole thing.

Haha! Lucky they aren't kings of foreign countries. Your "pacing" cat would be tried as a usurper!
