Do you think women or men are more muti tasked? My husband cannot eat and walk. Seriously, he can only do one thing at a time. I can do many things at one time.

Studies indicate that women are more suited to multi tasking, and more likely to engage in that behaviour. They also are more prone to suffer from the stress involved in multi tasking. I am better at it than hubby.

I´ve met very few men who are good at multi tasking. When I think about it, they were doing a lot of things at the same time, but the results were poor, lol. And that´s not really what multi tasking is all about. Women can do various things at once and get them done properly.

Hmm I never really thought about it, but now that I am I think you have something there. I don't recall many men I know that multi task. I do it all the time. I have to...I think it's the gemini factor...lol I am usually on the in mylot, watching tv, reading and answering emails and entertaining the dogs and bird all at the same time. I can't just do one of them..I must be doing many things at once or I get distracted and do nothing...kind of backasswards...lol

I think women are much better at it. We've always had to be. Kids, laundry, homework, dinner etc all on the go at the same time. I have heard a rumor that since our brains synapse differntly from that of men, Women are more likely to recover from a stroke. I wonder if this is true?

I saw a news special one time that stated that the way men and women's brains are wired so differently that it is very common for women to multi task while men focus on one thing...Women had to be able to watch more then one child while preparing food, foraging, gathering, making utensils etc while the man only had to hunt and protect. It the way of the design.... It's never a 100% absolute... but I think generally it's harder for the men I know to multitask. On the other hand most of the women I know are always doing more than one thing at a time.

We women use both sides of our brain and have a larger vocabulary. Men use mostly one side and then you know how they are so single minded most of the time. We were made second and seem to way upgraded not adjusted from a mistake just known improvements necessary. We were meant to help them and they sure do need it many times.

I think it totally depends on the individual. Some people can do 50 things at once, and others can barely do the one thing they are doing right now...lol. And it also depends on the kinds of tasks. I really don't care about multi-tasking because if I have to go that fast, I feel I am living the wrong kind of life. I want to live out in the country where multi-tasking is sitting on the front porch and breathing...all at the same time.

My fiance is the same, he can only do one thing at a time. I often make a joke f it and I hear the saying many times that women can multi task and men cant, so far the evidence is outstanding ;)
