I remember when helium first started it was all about the best responses and how many times people read what you wrote. It seems like the same here. Am I wrong? Am I missing something? I stopped using helium a long time ago when the rules changed, so far I like it here. What's the difference between the two?

Once you publish an Article on helium you get paid every time someone reads your article, so you have the chance to earn dollars instead of pennies off of your effort. Mylot pays you for Forum Posts you make and posts that are made to the discussions that you start, but it is a one time payment.
To me there is a huge difference between an informative article and a forum post, a lot of peoples writing has been removed from helium for not being substantial enough to be considered an Article. Helium is not the place to put your opinion in a forum type format, that is a big difference between Helium and Mylot.

Helium is a writing site; mylot is a discussion site. At Helium you write articles and they normally have to be longer than what you would write on mylot. You're also judged more on the quality than you are here, and each piece of your writing can earn more money over time, if people continue to read it.

Thank you for your response. Do you by chance know if there is a word limit (minimum) at Helium? I love the money continual (sp) they have at Helium.

I am a member of helium and the diffrence is with helium you get paid when someone reads your article. Here at mylot you get paid every time you post a response not when it is read.

Thanks for your response. As I just posted on another response, I hadn't realized they went to articles instead of just responses. Wow, there really is a bigger difference. I think I like both though. I like the fact you get paid EVERY time you post.

I would say this site is better than heliumto makemoney. the payment is puerly depend on the length of reply, the quality of the reply, the rating given by readers , and alsothe grammar and the punctuation.Besides pictures and your rating of others posts allmatters. The algoritham is so complesx and we are not supposed to discuss on the same. write well and earn a lot . Good Luck to you.

I would say that the single biggest difference is in HOW you get paid.
Here on myLot you get paid "as you work," and your earnings come with every contribution you make. You write a lot of responses and post many quality discussions, then you make more money.
Helium pays you every time your article is READ. The main benefit to that is that you build "residual income." In other words, the article you write today could (technically) continue to earn money for you as long as Helium stays in business.
Both sites eventually pay more for well-written, high quality content.
The way the money works out, any single "item" you post on myLot might pay you 6-7 cents TOPS-- one payment, one time. An article posted on Helium technically speaking has no earning limit, as it is based on page views. I have several individual articles there that have earned in excess of $5.00 each, and continue to earn, even when I don't log into the site for several days at a time.
On the whole, you probably have to be more of a writer to make money with Helium.

Great response. Oh wow, $5, man when I was there I was making pennies. Guess I'll be headed back to Helium once again. I do like the fact that you will continue to earn once the article is read. I hadn't realized that you only get paid the one time here. Thank you.
