Do you think that when you get married, choosing a spot where you want to live is important, of course. But what do you do when both parties want to live in their own hometown. I need help trying to figure this one out.

I think that the pros and the cons of both communities should be thought out and possibly written out so that you have a visual to go by. Things like the cost of living, the type of jobs that can be gotten and how much each will make. The community as well as the school district is also important if you have or plan to have children. Nevertheless, it shouldn't be something thought about selfishly by either party. It is something that should clearly be for what is best for the family as a whole.
