Two of the world's most popular beverages are tea and coffee which one do you prefer and why, I am a tea drinking it started when I was just 6 years old. I was a very nervous child and I couldn't eat or drink anything in the morning before school or I would throw it up. My grandmother finally discovered that I could drink a cup of tea, so that was at least something in my stomach. I have been drinking tea all my life. What is funny is that if I go out I mostly choose coffee over tea but tea in the house. I love all kinds of tea, red rose, english breakfast, darjeeling, earl grey, I do drink coffee but not strong like expresso or turkish, I will drink the coffee mixes you find in starbucks, and all the famous coffee houses, like cappuchino, etc but still none of them replace my beloved tea. what about you what is your story, coffee or tea, what kind do you drink and why?

I drink both - but I LOVE iced tea (the drink of the south after all *said with a strong southern drawl*) I like spicy teas over flower or fruit teas, tho I do like citrus & peppermint best. My fav tea is constant comment by Bigalow - like it both hot & cold. When I make iced tea I'll put 2 bags flavored & 4 bags regular for about a gallon of tea. Makes it tasty without the expense of all the tea being flavored and getting the caffeen of the regular. I do like plain coffee, but not black, if I go to a coffee shop I have them add extra splenda or equal to my drink. I tell people I like a little coffee with my milk...

I am a coffe girl all the way. I dislike tea, except iced tea, which is not really tea anyways.. But then again, i only like the Nestea iced tea, i find the Lipton one does taste like real tea, and i don't like it. I love all coffees, wether it's regular, espresso, cappucino, mokachino, cafe au lait, you name it! It started after i graduate from highschool, when i went on vacation with my aunt, uncle and cousins. My eldest cousin, drinks coffee like all the time. So i'd get up early in the morning, and she'd offer me one, which i'd take. then we'd go down to the beach for a while, come back up to cook lunch, and we'd have coffee in the meantime. Then one after lunch, then before supper, then after supper and later on in the evening! I came back from vacation, i was like "give me some coffee!!!!" LOL But, coffee has never ever kept me awake, or made me more nervous..in fact, i am a calm person.

I am a tea drinker. I used to just have sugar in it till I went to England when I was 18. People looked at me weird when I didn't put milk in it. So, I went with the flow. I came over for a vacation and stayed with friends. I didn't realize they drank 15 cups of tea a day. Crickey, you'd best keep a bathroom close by!! I love the smell of fresh roasted coffee. I just can't drink it. The taste makes me sick. The women in my family are the tea drinkers with the men drinking the coffee.

I drink tea mostly, usually green tea or herb teas. I can't drink black that often because I can't take too much of the tannin I like Earl Grey best of the black teas. I also drink coffee when I'm out or when I want to be alert. However, I find that it does not keep me awake. I drink tea plain and coffee with milk or cream. I did try on expresso once and I love coffee with flavored mixes, especially Irish coffee. I started drinking tea and coffee in my preteens -tea with my grandmother, coffee with my parents. It started as tea flavored milk and coffee flavored milk and they gradually decreased the milk so when I was in my middle teens I drank both straight.

I love Ice Tea. I start off my day with and usually drinks several larger glasses of it throughout the day. I like hot tea also but I drink Ice Tea more. I like my Ice Tea strong and about medium sweetness I like a god cup of coffee but coffee upsets my stomach so I only drink it once in awhile.

i drink coffee, i like its taste compare to all kinds of tea. Coffee has this bitter taste yet when you put small amount of sugar it will become sweet. And the smell of coffee is really nice. Also the cold variety beverage a coffee can offer. Its simply delicious

I love tea, it's my favorite thing to drink. Although the smell of freshly brewed coffee is absolutely tantalizing, the taste of tea overrides my urge for coffee. I grew up with my mother drinking tea daily. Even now she has a stash of different types of tea for our everyday cravings. Although I don't drink tea everyday, I manage to get a cup here and there when I am tired of drinking water. I enjoy red rose tea, orange tea, and Chinese sweet tea, amongst many other different varieties.

In fact, i like tea, when i am 6 years old, my father usually have a big bottle in hand when he watch TV, so infect me much, then i want to taste it very much, but you know what the first time i drink it? it's very bitter, do not taste well, no sugar no milk. And the water color is brown, have some leaves in the bottom. But as a child, i believe my father so blindly, lol,i think maybe i usually drink tea as my father it will be taste well, cause why my father like it so much. So then i learn to drink more tea, and like it really. When i grow up, graduate from university, join in the job, every time i hope to buy something to father, i will focus on the tea, and he like them very much, and i feel very happy, really happy.

I don't like coffee. Can't stand the taste and have never drank it. All I drink is iced tea. I don't like hot tea. Actually the only kind of tea I will drink is fresh brewed Lipton iced tea with no lemon and no sugar (I hate sweet tea, blech). I used to drink it pretty strong but I have since cut back on the number of bags I use to make my tea.

I drink coffee in first thing in the morning. I have to have my coffee. Then in the afternoon I will have tea. And if Im sick I will drink tea alot. I think tea is very soothing and thats why you were able to keep it down when you were a child.

This is actually a tough one for me....I'll have to say coffee, though. I love to have my coffee in the morning. It's almost like a ritual for me to sit and watch the morning news with my coffee and toast. Also, if I'm at a coffee shop, I almost exclusively order coffee and not tea. I remember it was a big deal to me when I was finally "allowed" to drink coffee at home. It was like a coming of age type of thing. However.......I also really love tea. I don't think I've found a tea that I don't like. Whether it's the regular tea, green tea, Earl Grey ("Tea, Earl Grey, Hot") or the various herbal teas available, I drink them all. I find tea so soothing. I really enjoy a hot cup of tea in the evening. It's like a wind down drink for me.

I love to drink coffee. Sometimes I drink tea, but not as often as I drink coffee. My favorite kinds of coffees are the ones that are frozen. They have to have some sort of cream and sugar or I wont drink them. My favorite types are th e frozen or "iced" ones from Dunkin Donuts, Baskin Robbins, Starbucks, and the Godiva ones that just came out. Sometimes when buying a cold coffee costs too much, I'll get a coffee mix. I usually use the instant kind or the one with cream and sugar added to it. (The ones with a whole bunch of flavors with strange names like Orange Cappuccino.) I'll add vanilla or a light flavored coffee ice cream to the instant coffee, add milk, add whipped cream into the mixture, andt hen blend. Sometimes I add a pinch of cinnamon to the mix if no one minds. When its done, I'll add whipped cream to the top and some cinnamon. Sometimes its so thick, I have to eat it with a spoon. I remember going with my mother to a local David's Cookies in Purrto Rico. We couldn't afford to buy lots of clothes when we went to the mall, so we'd get a small frozen coffee (which was 12 or 16 oz depending on the year). We'd walk around the mall and look at the sales. Sometimes, if there was a cheap piece of clothing or jewelry for $5 or less, my mom would let me get it. :)
