Have you set new GOALS for April here at mylot?

I have been here since Jan 28th and have loved almost every moment of my time here. I have many members that I enjoy their responses and the discussions they start. Some that are quite popular to mylot and some that don't seem to be as popular as they should. It got me to thinking what I wanted to accomplish for this up and coming month. So here are my goals for April:
1) I want to start at least 25 discussions for the month.
2) I want to respond to 3 to 5 news and blog articles since mylot has implemented them recently.
3) Continue to respond to my friends discussions. Be more consistent each day with responding to minimum of 25 discussions, more when time permits.
4) I want to upload 10 pictures a day here at mylot in the interest section. Along with as many as are relevant to the discussions that I respond to.
5) I want to consistently respond to 5 discussions a day with no responses.
6) I will continue to rate and give the best response award out. I will continue to comment where needed in a discussion.
I will not sacrifice quality to accomplish my goal, but hope to give back as much as I receive from the members through my discussions and responses.
I also want to take a moment to say thank you to all my friends for their support and the discussions that you start that give me the ability to respond with the utmost quality.

I have been a member for months but then I forgot all about it , I have not actually been writing for long , this month is my second payout , I try to get around to all of my friends ( I hope) I rate all of my responses and I reply to as many as I can , I try to do 50 a day , ( my 2 fingered typing is getting quicker ) I answer some discussions with no responses most days( sometimes I forget )I have tried to make my answers a bit longer , And like you I love it here , I would go as far as to say I am addicted to My Lot . good discussion pal xx

I'm a mylotaholic most definitely. I think that you do a wonderful job getting around to your friends. My typing has also improved here and often times find that I no longer have to look at the keys when typing. :) Another positive for mylot!! This will be my second payout also. I think we joined at the same time. However you have far surpassed me in responding. Sadly though I can't always post, due to the kids and the housework and such. I'm also very long winded and my responses and even my discussions tend to be a bit long. Sending many hugs your way! :)

I always set a goal to do more than I did the month before but something always seems to keep me from doing so. I have done better each month but I have never been able to reach the goals that I set for myself. I have a husband, daughter and a doggie to take care of and that limits my time alot on Mylot. I always try to put so much time in a day here but I also have household chores to keep up with daily too. I can never find the right amount of time to spend here, it seems.

I couldn't agree more. I thought that if I put my goals out there for all to see this time that maybe I would be able to try and accomplish them better. We will see.
I have 3 kids, a bf and thankfully no pets at the moment.
A house full of chores that are on going, the never ending laundry. Well at least at 2:00 for about an hour I can say there is no laundry but only for an hour.

Well for me there is no specific goal. I don't want to set a goal any more, because every time in the begining of the month I think I will do more this month but it never happens. Somehow my activitiy stay the same like earlier month. So I am thinking that I would keep going with time whatever I can respond or start discsussions. For discussions I have never set a goal, whenever I feel like I have started a discussion.
I know it would be good if I can set a goal and achieve it in the end of the month. But I think instead seting a goal I will try to do my best every day here on Mylot.

For the month of April i want to be increase my star rating.I will be an active member here since we have our class this april 10 i will see to it that i will give time to this site because the last time we have class i am not that active here and now i want to focus on my studies and here mylot.My goals also is to achieve $1 in one day.I hope i can did it.

I havent made any goals for myself here yet. Mainly becuase I dont want it to take over my life as I try to reach my goal. So I'll probly give it the entire month of April to see what I can do here on my own time then build from there. Honestly though, I would like to make payout by the end of the month. But I know that is probly wishful thinking.

Well depending on much time you spend here, it's not wishful thinking. If you set the minimum payout at $10 it's pretty easy to achieve payout each month. I have been here sin Jan 28 and my first payout was for nearly $40.00 and now this past month it's at a little over $20.00 I wasn't as active due to the Spring weather that we had for most of the month.
Am trying to set some goals to keep me on track for this month an to stay more motivated and have something to hold me more accountable now, lol. :)

Well i have just joined in and this is the start of my second week,i havent made any plans yet but i would like to post about 25 responses every day and i do hope that i'll accomplish that.Dont have any idea about blog section so cant say much until i check it out.
Responsing towards my friends discussion will be my first priority as i am in depth of their friendship.
Cant say much about starting any discussion as whenever i started one i always find similar one already existed,too bad i joined in this late and i dont want to repeat topics.Want to keep the quality of response intact dont want to give just yes or no kind of responses even i dont like one liners and about pictures well if i get any new one i'll certainly be uploading it here in the forum,all in all there arent any preferences or set targets for me.

Wow those are some interesting goals. They should get you to make more money!
HONESTLY, my only goals each month are to reply to each of my friends at least once and to reach payout each month.
(if my friends don't post for me to reply to or they haven't posted anything I want to reply to that day then I go to a discussion they have replied to)
So since this was three weeks ago; how are you doing at meeting your goals?

Well, first thing I should say is that it's a very long time since I last responded to any discussion here on mylot and I apologise for such a long absence. People had responded to my discussions and I couldn't even get the time to add some comments to their replies, so busy am I with my semester preparation.(I used the present tense as the sem exams are due to take place by the end of this month.) But now I've taken a little time out to do some of the things you've listed above. I mainly stress upon responding to discussions which others have started. It really feels good when people appreciate my answers and in some cases, are also benefitted by them.(A feeling which I carry from the days of my attachment with Yahoo! Answers, where I mostly concentrated on answering people's queries and not raising them myself.) Pictures are not very important to me. I believe that solid verbal content matters more. I know people may differ, but each one has his/her own view. I've also started to select the best answers for my very meagre quantity of discussions started. So let's see what happens along the way. I may not be as zealous as you, but there you are, as I said, people differ, minds differ, and it's all these different attitudes themselves which will go a long way in enriching mylot. Don't you think so?

I'm impressed by how organized you are!
My goals are pretty vague, I must confess; make sure I post a little bit every day, so I don't suddenly have to play "catch-up" late in the month to make payout. Post more discussions of my own, rather than just spend all my time responding. Stuff like that.
The only "real" goal I have is a "cotingent" one-- IF I actually get a whole day off and it isn't planned with other stuff, I want to see just HOW much I could make by spending an entire day on the site, posting discussions and responding... and then maybe I'd write about it, as an "experiment." Chances of that actually HAPPENING? Pretty slim...

I had joined mylot for one month and it seems that i had been addicted to it alreay even the earning is so low. I enjoyed in the good discussions here.
I also set a goal in april. Firstly, I woule like to raach 2000 posts before the end of this month, and I would like to reply more to my friends so that I will not be deleted due to my low numbers of replies to some members.
I hope I will be on your list as long as I am in mylot because I may not have give you enough reply to you.

You have done your new Goals for this month.
This is the reason why I admire you, being smart and organized.
Presently, I am in the process of post and respond improvements. I also plan to create my goal for the month.
I should set targets to attain a higher reputation and earnings here in MyLot.

I am new to my lot, but my target in my lot this month is just to understand the system in here and make money also by responding to discussions. if only any one could guide/ tell me, what is the amount one can generate from mylot....., am able to devote more time if the earning potential is great.

Well yes I have set new goals for April, I find that I am changing some of the topics that I discuss and try to help others on here. I am managing to do more responses, and also trying to respond with a more positive outlook. And I will continue to support my friends on mylot as they have support me.

Well I've been missing a lot here in Mylot, I've been absent for a while so I don't really know what's going.Though I have one goal this month...to get my first payment from Mylot.Yeah you got that right,I haven't reach payout yet...yeah how pathetic.I can't even make 10usd, and the others are making 3usd a day...what does it says about me?I know 10usd is not much but heck, I want to get my first payment just for the heck...I don't want to be a last one on the line.

Interesting, my friend. Do you often set goals in "real life" too?
For me, I am not really into goals - probably because I am not too ambitious lol. I just myLot till I am bored. But recently, the number of decent discussions seems to have drop. I can barely find 50 passable discussions to respond too lately.

Wow, u do actually set some goals,
not many of us do that. I know i have not. It is probably a good idea to try to plan and set Goals. After all, i'd be lying if i said my intention here to no.1 make Money, 2. Friends and the rest i believe is just a byproduct.

i just joined this lot. i find it is good than others. Although i am behind, i will make my effort to catch up you. Wow~~~ i live in China, so the net speed is slower than you. Today, i log in it from 9.00 until now i will continute to support others' articles.
