The pen is indeed very powerful. It penetrates the deepest of souls. An article or journal written substancially can move and influence many people in all walks of life in a different way. Others may find inspiration in what was written; others may find knowledge in an unanswered question; others may simply find interest on the writer and the style of writing, etc. In all affairs, writing is fabulous! It can be "loud" without the need of shouting. It can be "explosive" without the need for violence.

That is definitely true. Writings are also means of communications. Through writings you would also determine the personality of the writer, whether he is a deep minded person or someone who has creative ideas. That is why books are important because it can inspire different walks of life. :)

It is indeed. You use this proverb to say that you can solve problems or achieve your purpose better and more effectively through communication with words than by violence with weapons.
