wrong, the goal was scored by Silva. Chelsea created many chances but luck left them behind. Valencia got only two shots on target!!!!!
One corner Lampard cross to the far post. Canizares tries to catch the ball but misses it and Carvalho pushes it nicely to the open goal but three valencia players was there blocking it!! The ball deflected out and Shevchenko made a bicycle kick but it hits the ground and flied over the bar!!! Only if he could kick it softer it would be a tremendous goal!!!

Well it seems it was not so good day for the english clubs today as chelsea gave away an important away goal to valencia which now means they have to score a goal in the next match to qualify for the next round.
And on the other hand ManU lost to AS.ROMA 2-1 but they did score an away goal which always helps
Anyways back to chelsea, i think they still can qualify, because they always seem to find a way to comeback in any kind of situation. cheers!!!

yep well valencia took the lead in the first half wil a (i have to admit) a sexy long distance goal by i believe david villa. by the end of the first half valencia were sadly dominating. in the second half chelsea came out strong and drogba was running towards a long distance ball which bounced on the floor. the goaly expected drogba to wait for the secopnd bounce so he could kick it but drogba headed it in instead, the valnecia goal was nicer but chelsea didnt care as they managed to level up. through out the second half chelsea was dominant and had attack after attack mean while velencia had a few chanced but nothing that strong. toward the end murineo brought in joe cole in replace of mikel and also took kalu out for sean write philips. there were a few yellow cards on both sides but nothing too serious . over all it finished 1-1 at stamford bridge which means chelsea needs to score atleast one away goal when they go to valencia

How did Shevchenko play? Was he good yesterday? I remember him as a great player in AC Milan but now what is he doing?

I believe Chelsea will win in the next match.
Although it will be very difficult.

It's really a pity that Chelsea didn't win the match at home, but the worst point is Valencia got a crucial away goal. Chelsea had created many chances to score in the match but lack of luck..And David Silva's goal seems pretty nice and we could do nothing. In my opinion, Chelsea boy shoud kick more aggressively and give the opponent more pressure with high-speed rhythm. More long pass is also a effective way to attack the Spain's team. This is our advantage and I really hope Mouriho had realise this ,too.
