However good he is, he is bad when he is drunk; this is a common sentence we get to hear. Why is that ? Can we not consume alcohol within our limits wherein we understand the circumstances and world around us ? Why most of the time men become violent and talk rubbish when they are drunk ? Is it a custom ? or its just I don't bother anything attitude ?

While a few drink to celebrate, a great many drink to forget their sorrows. While some of them become emotional and start weeping or complaining, some become argumentative or quarrelsome. I tend to become very jovial and boisterous when I'm drunk and tend to break into impromptu sessions of dancing when the music is good and to my liking, and this despite the fact that I dance as if I have two left feet. I guess that is what a couple of stiff drinks can do. It lowers ones inhibitions. However, I know of people who drink only to give themselves a license to be rude to people they cannot be rude to, otherwise. My friend who is a hen-pecked husband often drinks just to scare his wife into silence! Things start like this and many a time take an ugly turn.
