People are bumping into me all the time and won't say excuse me. Not a word.

Have I lost my mind or has the rules changed? And, this is every where, the bus, the store, the street... And, the bags and backpacks and brief cases. Do these people forget that they are carrying these items. WHAT THE...?

rude people annoy the hell out of me. there's no reason or excuse for it. if you're in someones way they never say excuse me. just barge past. usually old people too, while tutting about how rude you are by being in their way. people don't even look at you or smile if you hold a door for them. some shop workers don't even look at you when you get to the till, even if you say hello. they just put it through the till, and say the amount. no eye contact. no smile. no hello. no please, no thank you. customers in shops are just as bad. I had a woman throw socks at me once, because she came up to the till past the man waiting in the right place, I said that the man was before her in the queue, so I'd need to serve him first, and she just yelled "well FINE! if that's how you treat paying customers I'm not buying these!" and threw the socks at me. I've had people kicking off that I won't redund or exchange an item that could have been bought anywhere without a receipt. luckily where I work now the customers are usually really lovely. rude people, I want to shout at and shake them.

I think that we need to repeat these incidents because some of these people have to recognize themselves and maybe think a little more about what they are doing. And, and another thing stores and businesses who have employees who can't say thank you or be a little kind when taking my money, can't have my money. I know that people are sometimes. But, you cnd tell the difference.

Yes, this really frustrating. I find it particularly annoying when people get on the bus or the subway or streetcar with their backpacks on their backs. Although there are always announcements to please carry your backpack in the front some people ignore this. When the bus is crowded it can be very painful to be bumped by one of those packs and people don't even turn around and say sorry. I also try to avoid malls at busy times because people are always bumping into me.

Linda Linda: I can't figure out what is going on with "some" people. They have their nasty, dirty feet on everything. I keep looking at these people and wondering -- Did you come from another planet? Do you think a stupid, rude act denotes intelligence? How long will it take you to learn the basic things in life -- like another 60 or 70 years? Slow learner? For instance, I was watching this one lady on the bus. She was in her sixties, or older, and she looked all around the bus to see if anyone was watching her and then she throw all the paper she had gotten out of her purse on the floor. (AND, I AM A BAD GIRL, SOMETIMES.) I asked, "Her how long was it going to take her to learn not to litter, another 10 or 20 years?" I also told her that, "You knew when you put that paper on the floor that your were not suppose to do that, didn't you?" She knew. It was not that she was nuts or senile. She was nasty and lazy and had been that way all of her days. She just sat there with her head down. She knew.

Yes, I bet she did. That is another thing our buses now look like pigsties. People get these free newspapers at the bus stops and then just throw them on the floor as well as, their empty water bottles and chocolate wrappers. Sas, so sad.

This is one of my major pet peeves of people!! its rediculous for people to act so rude..and have no common descency to say im sorry..or excuse me..and i have a very short fuse when it comes to that as well..somedays if they dont say anything,i will say..Excuse you!!!! Howe hard is it really to be well mannered? or have a few manners? its just wrong!

My fuse is a little short too, but I'm trying. I'm trying. And, unless I'm losing my mind, it appears to be happening more and more often. Is my observation correct?

I have encountered these type of people, countless number of times before; And, as soon as they hit me with whatever humongous stuff their carrying, I begin considering expressing my annoyance by shouting and yelling about it but after thinking of the possible ensuing verbal violence, I guess it wouldn't make me any better than them. I think these people are made to appear everywhere just to ruin other people's beautiful days. One of the worst kind is those people who carry these bundle of bags (not just one but more than 2 oftentimes) and they tend to actually hurt everyone they pass by with and to my amazement, they just walk on by without even apologizing for what just happened, as if they owe not a single sorry to those who they just flailed their things into. People can just be so surprising nowadays; probably because of the more stressful life we lead? Hmmm... I don't think so because, a single sorry or a sleight wave of hand wouldn't take too much of a toll on anyone's energy but a good hit on your side with a well-flung backpack, especially in the bus can hurt like hell, and that needs social compensation or I just might be forced to show utter retribution (that rhymes). lol!

Info2go: This goes on every day. Especially people who are older and know that they were raised differently. Then, lets say a good word to the ones who do say excuse me and pardon me. THANK YOU.
