Boredom...

I have this big problem about my work. I'm getting bored and everything seems a routine already. However, I cant leave it because I have a family to support. The only thing that keeps me going is the fact that I'm being paid well and my family will be able to live a good life. I just dont feel fulfilled doing this job.. If you were in my shoes, what would you do? how would you deal with boredom?

Well seems like you do not enjoy your work and its not intrest you. May i ask what you do? If it was not your interest at all than I suggest you to try to find a job which will give you satisfaction and till that time stick to your current job!!! If you do not want to change this job than you can always try a way or two to make your work place more intresting!!! be frienly with people around you, re-decorate your desk, keep some flower at your desk and keep something which you like and make you happy when you see that... like a photo of your loved one etc!!! I am a call center agent. I know what you mean but with this kind of job,, you cant actually do those things. I am=lso would want to find a new job but then again when I think of it, it scares me, knowing that i wont have the same stability as what i have with my current job. I dotn know, i really am lost now. I am torn between two things that are important to me,,, career growth.. because i know that if i fell this way, i wont grow as a person and as a career woman, and my family.. because without this job i'd be nowhere. But anyway thanks for the response...and for taking time to read this discussion!
