i just completed igi2 and i find that if we hide in bushes and the enemie even crosses from the same bush he cannot find us. And while sitting their we can kill all enemies.
Did you find anything while playing igi ?

you are lucky man. that finish IGI2. I so unluky that didn't play IGI2 yet. becouse my computer didn't support it. I play IGI 1 so much and finish it many time. but now hopfully I will play IGI2 becouse i got the job in web development company and they have very fast computer and inshallah(hopfully) my dream will come in reality.

I also noticed the same thing while i was playing IGI 2. This thing was most helpful to me in that level where we have to cross the border. It was a real tough one. I found a cheat for the game. For this go to the place where you have installed IGI2 and find a file named AI you will possibly find it data folder. Just change the name of the AI file to anything, say your name and then launch the game. And see the magic.
