One of the gravest mistakes Filipinos made over decades is to put the whole slice of trust to a single person or a group of persons. This is I think one of the traits we inherited from our colonial past. Consequently, our hopes and dreams rest on a single entity instead of all of us Filipinos. No single person could propel the Philippines to the promised land of greatness and abundance. I could not understand why would I just trust and vote a single person. What if that person could not carry on with the messianic burden we put at his shoulder, we will only be disappointed. But then I respect your view on this matter. My point here is that I think the horizon is much larger than we thought to be. Sure, Chiz will win. Chiz could even be the next President if we want to. But if Filipinos will have the same cultural habits we have now, no amount of a million Chiz could help us.

Hey men, I respect your opinion. But you must be too serious in taking my joke. Its true that its chiz escudero is my guy, But it doesn't mean that he is the only one in my list. Of course I already have 12 senators in my list. It so happen that chiz is number 1 in my slot. The cultural habit you are referring to is a thing of the past. In fact, 90% of them do not trust the politicians anymore. It so happen that once in a while you encounter men like chiz and allan whom you will admire for their great courage to expose beauracracy of this ailing government. I just hope that they continue to stand for what they are fighting for once they are all seated at the Senate.
