I too thought about not watching this show anymore. I even told my boyfriend that I wanted to write a letter to the producers of this show. I doubt that it will do any good but their current voting system is all wrong,especially when you have websites like votefortheworst.com. It just not right. I liked Gina although she is not my favorite.I think she sang much better than Haley and Phil. And I still think Sanjaya should have went home weeks ago.

Okay, I am not trying to go against what everyone is saying but I do have a question. Yes I totatly agree that Gina should not have gone home and Sanjaya should have left a long time ago. But I have no room to get angry or upset over the fact because I did not vote. So here is the question. Did you vote? I was raised that unless you voted, you have no reason to complain. If you want different results than you got to pick up the phone and vote. It just really gets to me when people start complaining about people and things when they did not even bother to vote!!! If you did vote then please do not be upset at my response this is not aimed at you. But if you did not bother to vote then shame on you!

I was going to post about this myself and was shocked and disappointed by what happened. Gina was much better than those two and she is much better than Sanjaya as well. I am irritated and am considering not watching the show anymore after this season. America votes for people for the wrong reasons. I have no idea how Phil managed to stay or Haley. They really need to change the voting system.

I agree. Phil was the worst this week. Haley has been consistently OK, but nothing better. Sanjaya shouldn't have even made top 12, and Gina has been rocking it the past couple of weeks.. I can't believe it. BOOO.

The hell? Gina had more talent then Haley and Sanjaya will ever have.

yeah i can't believe she was the one to go! What a bunch of crap! The show is going downhill, i'm not pleased.

I think it stinks. It is a shame the way the show is going. It is not a singing competition anymore. I don't know if I'll watch next year, it is getting so out of hand.

Last night I predicted we would have a female win this season. Instead, I think this could be the last season for American Idol. The voting has gone out of control (100 votes per phone???). They either need to change their voting process or give up the game. Unfortunately, I don't believe we Canadians are able to vote for American Idol (I DO vote on Canadian Idol) but I do have my favourite to win. I'm not saying anything in case it sways some voting from the nutjobs who are voting for the worst.

OMG really?! Why oh why? I thought Gina did very well =( That's sad. And as usual I can't fathom until now why the hell Sanjaya's still in the race. I'm beginning to get so disappointed with this show!

I absolutely agree that Gina should not have gone. Haley definitely should have gone before her, but Sanjaya should have gone long before both of them. I couldn't believe it when I saw that it was her that was leaving.

Well, I did make a post on this, mostly about the voting process. I am disgusted by the whole thing! If you want to see who is the "cutest" boy according to 12 year old girls, then have a separate contest. These are people trying to make it in the business and good talent is being voted off due to hormones and a website calling for unfair voting.

Like I said in some other discussion, I don't think it matters of who among the "better singers" than Sanjaya went home first, the point is, they're really not going to win. Yes, Gina is better than Phil or Haley but could she ever compete against Lakisha and Melinda in the finals? Let's face it, even if she stayed she will eventually be voted off. The same goes for Phil, Haley and Sanjaya. It would only be a matter of time that they would get voted off. What would really shock the bejesus out of me is IF it's either Melinda or Lakisha that gets voted off coz let's face it, they are the ones slated to go head on in the finals. Now if THAT happens then I would say that there's really something TRULY wrong with America. ;)

I too am totally shocked that Phil stayed and Gina got dumped!! Just sat looking at the TV with my mouth open. Phil has been pretty boring! Gina was GREAT! Who the heck voted her off? Shake your heads people!

I am so tired of the wrong people getting sent home. Sanjaya should have left a long long long time ago. Tonight between Jenna phil or hailey I think Hailey should have went. Just like last year the wrong ones are getting sent home.

You are not the only one irritated!! I was so mad at those results! Now I don't think Phil is that bad, I think he can really do well for the voice he does have but he only sings well singing certain songs. I just do not understand the whole Haley think anymore either, she has an informercial voice not an american idol voice. It's just so sad she's starting to look like Sanjaya now, just staying for the looks or I don't know, I have no idea what america is thinking anymore. I said in another post I think she just has alot of "hot and bothered" boys and men voting for her I guess, who knows? It's just getting more and more disappointing...

I was really pulling for Gina. She just has a sweetness about her. The worst ones are definitely not the ones going home lately. Gina and Jordin were my faves. I guess now I'll have to pull for Jordin. If Sanjaya wins, it is going to be a disaster waiting to happen with his album release.
