I'm wondering if the first love could reach to marriage. It's really appreciated cause it's so pure and wonderful. But some say it's hard to marry the first lover, due the two don't understand real love for the first time and could pass by easily.Any comments or personal experience to share?

I married my first love and we're still happily in love. We started going out 12 years ago while we were still in college and after a long time of going steady, after a lot of ups and downs, after a lot of happy and sad points in our lives, we married 9 years after. We have a baby now and we're still going stronger.

Actually my view of life and love was different. it may sound strange to you but i didn't believe in love before marriage but in love after marriage. My theory was that my love is reserved for the lady who will be my legitimate wife and not for any other lady. in our culture there are still arranged marriages, whereby parents with the consent of children decide about the marriage. though it's becoming lesser and lesser common but is still present to a considerable extent. mine was such an arranged marriage. and it was my decision as such. you know, me and my wife didn't even almost saw each other before marriage.
When we were married, i found her to be the most beautiful woman on earth. a strong and pure connection of love develpoed after marriage and still remains and is flourishing day by day. i must tell another of my feeling, i think that if love is developed after marriage than it's stronger than anyother form of love.
i feel like i could have met her earlier so that she could have been my wife earlier. in her i find my best friend, with whom i can and i do share my everything. it's just so wonderfull, the life. i thank GOD that i didn't love anyother lady and the first i ever loved happens to be my wife. so i am in a win win situation. Best of luck for you.
