I LOVE TEXAS! Especially this time of year when our state flower, the Bluebonnet is up and beautiful!!! We are in the middle of Spring right now Bluebonnets are everywhere! I took the kids out today and got their pics playing and running in a beautiful full patch of these wonderful blue flowers! Thought I would share.

That is a beautiful picture. It looks like a calendar photo, you should have unloaded on your discussion so we could rate it.

oh i didnt' even think of that. LOL oh well. :) thanks so much for the comment. I try to get pics of my kids in each season with something special like the leaves or the bluebonnets or the snow (which we don't have very often) LOL

Oh my goodness thats beautiful. When I first saw it I just thought it was something you had downloaded from the internet. Thats like pictures you see on posters you buy to liven up the room.
And thanks for enlightening me. Ive never seen a bluebonnet before and as for your children it goes without saying, they are soooo sweet.

thank you so much...i love pictures like this. I make a point to take these type of pics each season. The leaves with the kids in the Fall, the bluebonnets in the Spring, etc. I am going to try to blow it up. I just hope that it blows up to a 8X10 nicely.

That is so beautiful. I didn't even think that Texas could look like that. I always pictured it as being all sand or something. I live in New York so I haven't made it down that way but I hope to someday. Thanks for sharing your picture of your beautiful children.

How beautiful a picture that is. The joy on the children's faces as they frolic amongst the flowers is wonderful. I can't wait for the flowers to pop up here. It will be a while still. Mother Nature left a blanket of snow on the ground. The weatherman says it will turn colder this weekend. Thank you for sharing this pic with us. It is lovely.

Oh what a great picture!! Such beautiful flowers and gorgeous children! That is a picture worth blowing up and framing for wall art! No wonder you love Texas at this time of year. Spring does have a way of lifting our spirits doesn't it! Now if only it weren't followed by those miserable hot days of summer!

thank you so much. I love this picture, too. i took a lot of them running thru the bluebonnet patch, pics separate and together. :)
