When do I get my "star"?

One gets a star when one has posted 100 responses/discussions.The star ranking is the number over the star.It shows how other mambers think about your responses.The number depends on the + and - ratings given to you by other members for your discussions/responses.The more + rating you get the more number becomes.If you place your mouse over someone's star you will see a number which is called the reputation of a member in mylot.It also depends on the ratings given by other members.We can say that the star ratings depends on reputation and reputation depands on ratings.You shold give + ratings to responses which are good and related to the topic of the discussion.Similarly you should try to post reponses related to the topic of discussion.

HI,Tina! first of all,I had forgotten to even wecome you to mylot.You're star will come soon. I was told it had to do with rating responses.It is very frusrating in the beginning.I was actually was gonna drop out but I stayed with it and you will see that as you go along,you will start to get more discussions . Just be patient. Keep adding good friends too .

WELCOME to Mylot. Hang in there. You won't get your "star" and get your ratings til after you get to 100. Your at 38 now so almost half way. You will see your rating go up when you either respond to OTHERS discussions, or start a new discussion. Once you get your star you can check your rating by holding your cursor over the star and you will see it say something like 99/100. Good Luck. I look forward to seeing more of your discussions.

Okay, you will get your star when you have reached 100 posts on Mylot. The number inside it is your star rating, and the number that you should see when you hover your mouse over it is your reputation. These are both decided by the mylot members, for the number of positive/negative responses you get for your discussions and responses. I hope you find this helpful.

Thanks for asking about the stars and numbers. I am a brand-new mylot member too and was wondering the same thing. I guess we just need to keep responding an discussing to earn our stars!!

After U reach 100 I think all member already reply that try to keep give others + rate. So maybe they also give U + ^^

hey there buddy.first of all welcome to mylot.and the answer to your question.in order for you to get your star rating you need to reach a hundred posts in order for you to get it.once you get your star depending on the ratings and your overall performance,like respoding to discussions and the way you were rated by different users you ll achieve your star rating.all the best.

hey buddy even i was wondering when will i be getting a star ,but as soon i posted 100 replies to the discussions of my friends here in my lot i was able to see a star rating beside my id..! i was really excited.so hurry up and post the remaining balance to make out 100.. best of luck.

Hello friend, i think you are new to mylot and thats why asking this question. Dear friend, when you will complete your 100 discussions you will get star on your name. Here after getting star you will have to keep its number up by quality discussions.I think you will follow my advice!Because for many people here in mylot, star really matters!

Thats a good question. I was wondering what it all meant but I didnt think to ask anyone. I just figured Id eventually figure it out if I ever ended up getting one.

The star is given when you reach 100 posts. The star rating comes from the quality of your responses based on some factors including if you've been picked for any "best responses". Of course, that rating can change as you become more experienced. Good luck!

Hi Tina - you get your star when you reach 100 postings. This will be the number inside the brackets next to your username. The number inside the star will be your perceived rating by the myLot community. Keep posting quality discussions and providing responses and you'll soon get there. While I am writing you this rsponse you are at a rating of (39). So as soon as you reach a (100) mark a star will be fitted in your crown, I mean above your username and will have some number inside which tells you your reputation in mylot. The smaal & big number doesn't mean how good or bad you are but just shows yuou your reputation or the admiration of the other member users in mylot for whatever efforts you have put in mylot. Don't worry about the star. You will get it when you hit 100 posts. And in that star will come your reputation. Though myLot states 0 to 10 in their FAQ, I have not seen a 0 reputation - unless they meant that as star-less. So keep posting quality posts so that when you reach 100 and get your star, you will have a nice reputation.

Your star will blink beside your user name immdeiately after the 100th post you do.The star rating will also have a reputation marks in it.Those are marks ranked for your topic and responses by other mylotters.Your reputation marks will keep on increased based on positive rankings by others.I got my 10 star from 9 yesterday.am very happy for this.keep going ...

Everyone answered it well. You will have your star with corresponding MyLot reputation in it. This will show your standing, and how everybody rate you for the quality of post or discussion you have made. So, you better do your best. you will get ur star when you reach you 100th post for sure. The star rating at that time depends on how otheres have rated your responses for thier discussions.all the best. I am sure of this since i got the star just after typing in my 100 post in my lot again all the best
