The WWE (one time WWF) does occasionally conducts shows outside the US. I was fortunate to be in K.L for the Smackdown tour somewhere in ('02, 03, damn i forgot), and it was a hell of an experience (in a good way that is). I enjoyed it very much, right from the opening match between the Hurricane against Funaki to the main event between The Rock against Chris Jericho (which include a hilarious skit involving both superstars and a balloon). Televised matches are not the same again since i had seen the 'real' thing. I even bought the souvenir shirt and its still in my collection!
So any wrestling fans had similar experiences? I like to hear your story. Those from countries with established pro-wrestling promotions can contribute their stories too.

when i was young my dad took me to my first live wwf event i will never forget it breat hart vs owen hart was the main event match, it was only a few days after the king of the ring in which either bret or owen won ( can't remember which ) and when you watched their match it was coreographed right down to the last move and i was like watching they king of the ring match all over again, that was when i realised it was all fake and staged but still loved every minute of it, i wanted my dad to buy me a pair of bret hart glasses but he wouldn't as they were too expensive so i ended up getting razor ramons chains, needless to say they were broken within a few days.
In november last year me my other half and two of her kids went to see raw live at nottingham arena it was a good night out and one we will not forget in a hurry, the fans were electric and atmosphere was mind blowing it was great plus cena and jeff hardy were there so made my night.
Now we will be going to tnas live taping on the 17th of april in florida universal studios which i am sure wil be a great experience for us all especially now tna is getting alot better.

Likewise, i knew the whole thing was choreo-ed before then but yet i bought the tickets (which cost a bomb where i'm from). But it was very entertaining nontheless. Live shows in my parts are as rare as a sumatran rhino sighting, which is why I've kind of envy you since you get to see live show's often especially the TNA tapings. And yeah, i think TNA is improving a lot too. Thanks for sharing redfang.

Ive been to a couple of shows when theyve come to my town. I went to a WWF Raw one time. Another one I went to was a WCW Thunder event a looooong time ago. It was pretty good though. Some wrestlers came into the crowd right next to me.

I went to my first professional wrestling match in the late 60's when All Star Wrestling use to come over to Vancouver Island once every couple of months as part of their road trip. The wrestling was based out of Vancouver,BC and had wrestlers like Gene Kininski,Do Leo Johnathon,Dean Ho (Higuchi),Bulldog Bob Brown, and later Roddy Piper,John Tolos, and Playboy Buddy Rose.I remember a few nights when the "bad guys" neded a police escort from the old Civic Arena for their "evil" doings like Brown using his (gasp) thumb on an opponent. We also got to see the midgets wrestle as well as a few world champions. The wrestlers though only had an hour or so after the matches ended to get to the boat to go back to Vancouver for the big Monday night wrestling from the Agradome or the PNE(for special events).I was only 7 at the time but I sure remember the fun!

my wrestling live show experience is just last year. when they came here at the philippine. I watch the raw and meet some of the stars, I even remember the main event was john cena and edge in a cage match and i also remember mick foley vs carlito match (mick foley was a filipino favorite). And i also watch the s.d. survivor series tour. I like the smackdown tour more because i saw all the superstars in person, meet with them and have pic and autograph. Also on this tour is when batista came to the philippine since he was a filipino. The main event was booker t, finlay, mr kenedy vs batista, undertaker and bobby lashley.

Last year? Damn.. Lucky you!
Oh yeah, Foley is a favourite of mine too.. he's such a funny guy. I would love to see the new guys such as Cena and Batista in action.. And yeah, i read somewhere that Batista is a filipino and is good friends with the boxer, Manny Pacquio (You are from Phillipines yes? You should be proud of them).
I think i should start a petition to WWE to do another show in Malaysia..

I have be really lucky enough to get to go to several live WWE events. I have been to 3 Raw shows, 4 Smackdown shows, and 2 PPV events. One of the best shows I went to see was on Raw not all that long back when DX reformed with Triple H and Shawn Michaels. It was so cool! Then back in 2002 I went to a Smackdown show and The Rock and a lot of the other really popular guys were there. I was able to get some shirts and autographics from some of the superstars. There is nothing like watching WWE live! Watching on tv is cool, but you can never beat the excitement of a live show.

I have been to one LIVE event, it wasn't a RAW or SMACKDOWN, but it was the same wrestlers..Kane, the rock, the hardy's when they were together..ect.. and even that was great. My sis has been to RAWs and pay per views andshe loves it. The one I went to was in Lexington Ky, I am pretty sure, yeah it was. I loved it, I would go again if I ever get a chance. I would mainly like to go to a wrestle mania...maybe..someday.

I have yet to bring myself to a WWE show anywhere, usually because they are nowhere near me and I can't make myself go all the way to one. However I do work with local professional wrestling organizations in my area (Kentucky, USA) on a weekly basis, and I get to work wtih men and women who are on their way to becoming the stars you will eventually see on TV. It's a great experience to be able to see their skills grow weekly, and how excited teh fans get about them.

How I wish to see it live even for just one show. I have been a big fan of wrestling since I was a kid. The show never failed to amazed me with those stunning stunts and amazing moves. I always thought of how a wrestler feel about the pain he has taken from the bouts of his enemy.
Although I am not living in US but I am still a big fan of the show. My favorite wrestlers are The Rock, Batista and Undertaker. I wish they will have an international tour next year so I can finally watch it live.

I actually became a fan of the WWE by going to a live show. My husband was a big fan, but I thought it was all so fake. But when he wanted to go to a live show I went with him. It was RAW and I saw them in 2005. The show was great and I got really hooked!
A year after that Smackdown had a house show in our area and we went to that as well and we saw our favorites: The Undertaker & Rey Mysterio

Actually you can enjoy a 'pro wrestling' match in a way you watch martial arts movies. The beauty is in the art of movement and conveying emotions in every moonsaults, double teams and chair shots. At least in my perspective anyway since in my teens i used to do choreographed martial arts fights to thrill girls. Btw, thanks for posting rosking which i think will be the last post as i consider this 'floor' to be closed. Thank you.

I've never been to a wrestling match live, but i have seen UFC live, it was great and plus they actually fight and it's not the fake stuff like the WWE does.

They visited Philippines many times but sad to say I haven't watch any of it merely because the ticket price was to expensive and I don't think I can afford that. I only got to watch them on tv and on dvd's. I bet that would be great to watch them live! I also love to watch UFC battle.

Not yet but if given a chance, I would love too. I'm a big fan of wrestling since I was ten years old, ten years ago. I want to see the rattlesnake and John Cena in person. I think Cena has some similarities with Matt Damon.

Myself and my partner took my kids to see a House Show by WWE in February of this year. Every single one of us thoroughly enjoyed it, my partner even lost his voice LOL.
The match of the night was definitely the main event. Undertaker and Batista. Seeing the Deadman live was awesome and I wouldn't have changed it for the world.
Another match I enjoyed was Chris Benoit, except I can't remember who he was up against LOL.

Will never ever want to watch such things, where two inhumane beings hiting out eachother with what ever they get. A dirty sport
