I am very keen on travelling. I don't like to see ruined landscapes though. I think high tower block sort hotels along beaches are unsightly. I prefer to see hotels of one or two floors high made from natural materials that blend into the local surroundings. I hate to see rubbish dumped and it harming wildlife. It is also horrible to get ill whilst travelling.

It is true that a lot of cities' activities will harm wildlife. Hotels amongst beaches can be unsightly depending on how many there are, but that's mostly a tourist attraction. What kind of natural materials can a hotel be made out of? I'm just curious.

I was thinking about those types of hotels in the United States. I've never seen an American building made of natural things, but the countries you mentioned are not as economically developed, so they're kind of forced to. I think it'd be interesting to be in a wood or straw home, I've never done it.

Yes, by natural materials I mean bamboo, wood and thatch. I have seen some lovely hotels in Kenya with natural looking walls and charming looking thatched roofs. In Thailand it is common to see hotels made from wood. A tower block hotel that is 10 floors high can look awful. It does not fit in with the local landscape.

I just love to travel to any place near or far. The only really big thing that i dont like about travelling is all my traveling is done by land machines like cars or buses and i get really car sick and it really takes the fun out of everything for me i dont feel like doing anything when i reach my place of choice i just wanna lay in the bed at the hotel and die and i miss out on everything. I have tryed taking gravel but that just made me sick and sleepy i dont know what a person could do to help this but that really ruins my trips to anywheres and i love it so.

Traveling via car or bus can get boring, especially if you're going somewhere that is greater than 8 hours driving. If you're riding the two just to sight-see, it's great, but if not, then that can get boring and if you get car sick, excrutiating.

Yup, food is an issue. And one more thing, the sleeping arrangement - at times you might find some unwelcomed mosquitos, cockroches... and something worse - that deopends on how bad your day is .. :)

Yikes, food can be an issue, because as we know, sometimes different countries vary in levels of hygiene. Different parts of the same country and even state vary in the same thing.

The worst thing for me is I get car sick and plane sick lol. I NEVER throw up, but my head hurts really bad, my stomach gets upset. It is just terrible. So either way I travel i'll be sick, so thats the worst thing for me about traveling.

YIKES! I don't like flying either. Before September 11, it was because I used to get hurting ears, and now it's the fright of that happening again, plus the thoughts of my ears getting hurt.

Getting sick and losing money is not good. Especially if you're on another continent.
