The Sta. Lucia Realtors made a Holy Week shocker when they traded Kenneth Duremdes, Alex Cabagnot, and Ricky Calimag to the Coca-Cola Tigers for Dennis Miranda, Manny Ramos, and two first-round picks. The Realtors made the player swap to free some salary space in lieu of the upcoming 2007 PBA Draft. Duremdes was very sad about the trade. He said that he still wants to play for SLR, but it's still ok for him because that's basketball. Cabagnot' involvement in the trade was the surprise of the news. Cabagnot is already making waves for SLR this season together with the high-flying Kelly Williams. Now, all eyes will be on the two squads as they will have a different roster by Easter.

that is great news for coke fans, they have a steady PG in cabagnot, backep up by chris pacana and john arigo has a fine back-up with kenneth duremdes and ricky calimag will surely step up since he is an underrated player manning the front court with ali peek and anthony johnson. Chemistry is all they need and they will become a force to reckon with this fiesta conference.
For SLR, at least denok miranda will team up with kelly williams, marlou aquino, dennis espino, paolo mendoza, gonzales and rock winston together with manny ramos which is decent big man, his only problem is consistency.
